Return of the Invasion of the Vines from Outer Space!
The vines are back, this time with a vengeance.
Last year, we chronicled the glorious victory that the citizens of Haynie-Sirrine won over the vines which threatended to choke out the bushes in the green space:

It was a hard-fought battle, but the citizens of Haynie-Sirrine prevailed!

And this week, while on a lovely evening stroll, we quickly stopped in our tracks when we saw this: the vines were back, and bigger than ever!
But we knew exactly how to handle the situation — we got right to work, pulling up the vines and freeing the dying bushes from their relentless grip.
After a hard-fought battle, the vines were vanquished, and the bushes sighed with tremendous relief.
And the citizens of Haynie-Sirrine returned to enjoying their beautiful green space, now free of those pesky vines!
