Reminder - Haynie-Sirrine Neighborhood Meeting May 20th
Next Neighborhood Meeting Featuring the Candidates for County Council District 23
This is a reminder that the next Haynie-Sirrine Neighborhood Association meeting is Wednesday, May 20th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. at the NEXT Innovation Center, 411 University Ridge.

We are pleased to announce that the three Democratic candidates for Greenville County Council District 23, Angela Aiken, Alan Mitchell, and David Mitchell, will attend the May 20th meeting. Nearly all of the Haynie-Sirrine neighborhood is represented in County Council District 23. There are no Republican candidates running for the District 23 seat. Each of the three candidates will have 20 minutes to speak about their campaign priorities and answer questions.
The three Democratic candidates will compete in the Democratic primary election on June 9th. Since there are no Republican candidates for District 23, the winner of the June 9th primary will be unopposed in the general election on November 3rd. In short, the County Council Representative for District 23 will be determined in the June 9th primary.
The Haynie-Sirrine Neighborhood Association, as well as the NEXT Innovation Center, does not endorse or support any candidates for elected office.
Also at the May 20th meeting, the Haynie-Sirrine Neighborhood Association will provide a brief update on the County Square Redevelopment Project.
We hope to see you at the meeting on May 20th.
