Neighbors Enjoy Wonderful Weather and Conversations
About a dozen neighbors gathered to enjoy the sunshine and each others' company!
After days of nonstop showers in late May, the rain finally let up and made way for some much needed sunshine. Neighbors Summer and Bennett dropped a message in the Haynie group chat with a simple proposal: we'll be in the gazebo at 7 PM. Who wants to join?
To their surprise, lots of folks heeded the call! That evening, about a dozen neighbors gathered in the gazebo to enjoy the spectacular weather and each others' company. They engaged in some very interesting conversations (everything from optometry to a cat catching a freshly hatched dove!), illuminated by the setting sun and the warm glow of the gazebo lights.
That's the great thing about community: you never know when things line up just right! Keep an eye on the Haynie chat for the next spontaneous get-together (or ― better yet ― drop a message in the chat and see who shows up; you might be surprised!).
