Neighbors Enjoy Coffee and Conversations
The second Coffee Day was a wonderful occasion.
The sun was shining warm and bright Saturday morning, and the timing couldn't have been better: it was the date of the long-awaited Neighborhood Coffee Day! Complete with refreshments like coffee, hot chocolate, tea, honey, and fruit, the chat sparked some interesting conversations, from travel stories to disbelief about ridiculous reality TV shows.
The previous Coffee Day, held in March, also saw nice attendance and interesting conversations. For that occasion, the weather was certainly chillier ― perfect for a warm cup of Joe.
That's why the fall Coffee Day was planned for late November: to enjoy warm coffee alongside a crisp, cool autumn breeze. And though November's Coffee Day was remarkably pleasant, we were caught by surprise to see the forecast was a high of 80°F! Nonetheless, the sky was a strikingly clear blue, the perfect setting to connect with one another and swap intriguing stories.
