Haynie-Sirrine Rezone to Planning Commission

The City's Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, November 6th.

Haynie-Sirrine Rezone to Planning Commission

Since the Haynie-Sirrine neighborhood rezoning public meeting on September 17th, the City's planning staff has received requested modifications from the public to the proposed neighborhood rezoning map that was reviewed at the neighborhood meeting. These requested modifications were evaluated by the planning staff, and a limited number of changes were made to the original proposed rezoning map. The final rezoning map proposed by the planning staff is shown below.

The updated zoning map includes changes based on community feedback.

The City's Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the Haynie-Sirrine rezone map on Thursday, November 6th at 4:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers (10th floor) at City Hall, 206 S. Main Street. The public is welcome to attend, and a public comment period (3 minutes maximum per person) is offered for this item.

The Planning Commission solely provides a recommendation to City Council. Following the Planning Commission meeting, it is anticipated that City Council will consider the 1st reading of the rezone map at the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on November 24th, with the final reading on December 8th. If you have any concerns or comments, please contact the planning staff at planning@greenvillesc.gov.
