Biltmore Walk Townhouse Development Update

The Biltmore Walk townhouse development at Biltmore Drive and Pearl Avenue is entering a new phase. The project, which will include 44 luxury townhouse units, is led by the Keene Development Group, who recently selected P+F Construction as the general contractor for the project. Headquartered in Fountain Inn, P+F Construction brings decades of experience across the residential, civic and commercial construction sectors.

Keene Development Group and P+F Construction had a project kick-off meeting with the City of Greenville on August 7th. During the week of August 11th, the project team will begin site cleanup and clearing & the installation of a sediment trap. Near-term site project work will include the installation of fencing, removal of the remaining trees, and rough grading. Construction of cast-in-place retaining walls will begin at a later date. Keene Development Group will continue to keep the neighborhood updated as site work progresses through the fall and winter.

Houston Street Traffic Calming Study

Over the past few months, several residents in the Tindal/Houston area have expressed concerns regarding vehicle traffic speeds on Houston Street. Residents have frequently observed cars driving above the residential speed limit going to and from the Primrose School located on Houston Street and Rose Avenue.

The City of Greenville has initiated a traffic calming study including 51 households in the area. Residents of the study area have been notified of the virtual kick-off meeting to be held on Thursday, August 14th.
